San Francisco Municipal Facilities (193.C)

Enpowered Solutions is the primary provider of commissioning services to the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) under contract CS 193.C. Enpowered has conducted energy audits and provided construction management and commissioning for energy efficiency retrofit projects and performed retro-commissioning projects at San Francisco municipal facilities powered by the SFPUC.

Project Scope

Projects are led from scope identification through implementation and commissioning for energy audits and construction management. Duties involve all aspects of the retrofit process, including investment-grade energy efficiency audits, development of performance specifications, design review, construction management support, commissioning, and measurement and verification (M&V). Under this contract, projects were conducted at a number of City buildings including the Hall of Justice, Laguna Honda, San Francisco Fire Departments, San Francisco Police Departments, and the 911 Call Center.

Retro-commissioning

Enpowered Solutions also conducted retro-commissioning projects at 1 South Van Ness and the Visual Arts Building at City College of San Francisco. The retro-commissioning process included performing pre-functional and functional performance tests on all major mechanical equipment in the buildings, identifying low-cost and no-cost measures, and supporting contractors with the implementation of the identified measures.
